  • You must fill out a form for each student wishing to attend the course. Upon completion of this form, another page will give you the option to register additional students.

    Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend the course with the students. Hunting is a family sport, and we feel it is important for you to understand what the students are learning so you can mentor them after the class in the field.

    We will need contact information and a signature from Parents/Guardians of all children under 17 years of age.

What is the COST of TPWD Hunter Education Certification training?  – Dallas Arms Collectors Association in partnership with Texas Training Crew have teamed up together to provide Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) Hunter Education free of charge to qualified students**.  Do NOT enter any financial information on this page, you will not be asked for any information regarding payment.

** Qualified students eligible for the TPWD Hunter Education Certification are any student 17 years of age or younger.  Parents and/or Guardians ARE eligible for free TPWD Hunter Education Certification if they attend the course with an eligible student 17 years of age or younger.  It is suggested and recommended that parents and/or guardians participate and take the course with their children even if the parent and/or guardian all ready possesses Hunter Education Certification.  Hunting is a family sport and this course should be considered a boding experience.

Class will be strictly limited to first come first served and so as to maintain quality of instruction we have a predetermined student to teacher ratio which allows us to provide only 50 seats in the class unless special arraignments are made in advance.

Minimum age for TPWD Hunter Education Certification is 9 years old.  Children younger than 9 years of age may take the course and may participate but may NOT receive certification for completion of the course.

Students 18 years old or older without a qualifying student of 17 years old or younger may email us directly to find out eligibility to receive this training at no charge.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TO GET INTO THE GUN SHOW – Students are admitted free of charge.

Class does break for lunch, while food is available for purchase on premises it is recommended that students bring a lunch, or make arraignments to bring in lunch.

This offer of TPWD Hunter Education courses provided at no charge to the student is only valid at the Market Hall Gun Show and/or Dallas Arms Collectors Association sponsored events.
